How our free listings work
Many rehab directories are run by treatment chains or paid for by the centers they list. That makes it hard to tell advice from an ad. This directory works differently, and we want you to know exactly how.
A center doesn’t pay to appear here. We look up each center’s license with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), the state agency that licenses substance use treatment providers, before it is listed. Free listings appear in alphabetical order, so the center at the top is not a recommendation. It just comes first in the alphabet.
Each listing shows the levels of care we found, the month we last checked it and the center’s own phone number. When you call, you reach the center. We never route calls through a hidden hotline, and we never ask for your phone number.
We are a guide, not a treatment provider. A listing is not an endorsement. A license tells you the state has approved a provider to operate. It can’t tell you whether a program fits your loved one. The guides further down this page help with that part.
What the Rehab Jacksonville FL Standard means for each listing
Checked with Florida DCF
We look up each center in DCF’s public records before it is listed. You can run the same search yourself with our DCF license lookup guide.
Sourced
Services and levels of care come from the center itself and from SAMHSA’s FindTreatment.gov locator. We don’t guess, and we don’t rate centers.
Dated
Every listing shows the month we last checked it. Programs change, so confirm the details when you call.
Unpaid
The guide carries one sponsor at most. It pays a flat fee, never per call, lead or admission, and it is labeled Sponsored everywhere it appears.

How to read a listing
The small labels on each listing are levels of care. In plain language:
- Inpatient detox. Staying at a facility with medical care while the body gets through withdrawal.
- Outpatient detox. Going to a clinic for medical checks and sleeping at home.
- Residential. Living at the program with support around the clock.
- PHP (partial hospitalization). Treatment during the day, home at night.
- IOP (intensive outpatient). Several sessions a week while living at home.
- Outpatient. Regular counseling, often once or twice a week.
- MAT (medication-assisted treatment). Medication combined with counseling.
- Sober living. A shared home with rules and support, which is housing and not treatment.
Not sure which one fits? Our level of care guide walks through the questions an intake team will ask, and the full levels of care overview explains each option. The wrong level of care can cost you the moment your loved one is willing, so this step is worth your time.

Questions about this directory
Do centers pay to be listed here?
No. Free listings cost nothing and are never ordered by money. The guide carries one sponsor at most, for a flat fee, and it is always labeled Sponsored. You can read how this guide is funded for the details.
Does a listing mean you recommend the center?
No. A listing means we found the center in Florida DCF records and that its details came from public sources. We don’t rank or rate centers. Please use our how to check a rehab checklist before you decide.
Why isn’t a center I know about listed?
We may not have finished checking it, or we may not have been able to confirm its license with DCF. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with it. You can look it up yourself with our DCF license lookup guide, or use SAMHSA’s FindTreatment.gov locator.
Will my information be shared if I call a center?
We never see your call. You are dialing the center’s own number, and we don’t collect your name or phone number. Ask the center how it handles your information.
Is this a hotline?
No. We are a guide, not a call center, and we don’t place people in treatment. In an emergency, call 911. For a crisis, call or text 988. For free treatment referrals, you can reach SAMHSA’s National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
